HOCUS POCUS
HALLOWEEN IS HERE!
Halloween has roots connected with Celtic harvest festivals, including the holiday of Samhain. However Halloween may appear simple on the surface, a tradition where people dress up in costume and hand out candy, it is much more sophisticated. Halloween is not necessarily a holiday intended to scare with wicked masks but rather to acknowledge and honor life. At school, teachers offered a variety of ways to celebrate with students; making biscuits, carving pumpkins, escape room challenges, science experiments, different roleplays and storytelling… We had a special time together maybe because magic really existed.
