Reading Theatre
Children love performing for classmates and others. By performing plays or stories is we found an ideal way to improve students’ reading outcomes. Moreover, this time students read and performed a script and we could record it to create a movie too.
However, Reading Theatre entails no memorization of lines, we use easy costumes, acting is part of the learning process, props or basic sceneries are always handy.
The performing students simply stand in front of their audience with scripts in hand and read.
We only required readers to read with expression in order to convey meaning to an audience. And off course just enjoying it. After some reahearsals and working out different scripts with all the students in classroom we chose this one here the movie based on OXFORD BOOKWORMS LIBRARY. FIVE SHORT PLAYS: The Robbery.
